About <\/span>the project<\/span>: Laying the Foundation for Welcoming Communities<\/span><\/h1>\nThe NWRWC is envisioned as a collaborative effort bringing together <\/span><\/span>diverse community stakeholders<\/span><\/span> to develop a strategic plan that addresses the unique needs of newcomers. Our aim is to <\/span><\/span>strengthen existing partnerships<\/span><\/span>, improve communication and coordination across various sectors, and cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment throughout Northwest Manitoba. This <\/span>project<\/span> is supported by the <\/span><\/span>North West<\/span> Regional ZIP feasibility study funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Vision:<\/span><\/h1>\nTo see the Northwest Manitoba region recognized as a collection of <\/span><\/span>welcoming and inclusive communities for newcomers<\/span><\/span>, where the host community actively <\/span>participates<\/span> in adapting to ensure successful settlement and integration.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Mission:<\/span><\/h1>\nTo <\/span><\/span>facilitate<\/span> opportunities for the successful long-term settlement and integration of immigrants and newcomers<\/span><\/span> within the Northwest Manitoba region through coordination, collaboration, and community engagement.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Geographic Reach:<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\nWe proudly serve the communities of <\/span><\/span>Swan Valley, The Pas, Thompson, and Flin Flon<\/span><\/span> in Northwest Manitoba.
